There was this man

Standing in the current

Caught between two banks

Didn’t have the courage

To put foot

on either side of land

 

His spirit weighted down

by heavy grains of sand

Couldn’t follow his heart

It was long ago ripped apart

 

There was this beautiful naiad

Who in every hand had

A very sweet medicine

For every man who fell within

Dark and troubled water

She tried to save them like a lover

Being a sister, a friend, a mother

Gave away all that was inside of her

So she drowned

Lifeless at the bottom

Spirit found her

turned mud into blossom

Blue coloured green

nymph became Queen

She is now receiving

all she has been giving

For the very fist time

She is not other's

She is mine
