Power To Us

There’s this need

much more than ever

to feel connected

But the more we  seem to long

The greater seems the division

Now we are 

in the Holocene extinction

Water is no longer blue

water is colouring crimson

Is this the absolute truth

Or is this merely

The government's vision

as they tend to think about others

made in their own image

They have spread a virus

to eliminate or separate us

But we choose Love over indoctrination

We choose Love over the power hungry imagination

Bad news gets depicted

to keep our tender soul restricted

they want to keep us all addicted

to mistrust and feeling vindictive 

but for every bad thing that gets depicted 

a thousand more things happened where love and beauty were being gifted 

Let’s throw away all propaganda

Let’s make our own, authentic, good news agenda

We hear you, Authority

But listen close and don’t let us be misunderstood

We will stand for each other

We will stand for our planet 

Because most people are just so beautifully good

we will love with every single heartbeat

We will stand tall and will not falter

All your hate will not alter

The purity of our intentions, of our words 

As inside each and every one of us

Resides the Power that can create worlds

peace on earth for everyone
